Thank you for visiting the Navy League of the United States, Palm Springs Council web site. Like other councils, our primary thrust is to support the sea services. However, we think our approach is somewhat unique in that we emphasizes hands on interface with the men and women of the active services. As an example, this holiday season alone, our council, with the help of our corporate and individual sponsors, have provided over 1,300 pounds of gourmet coffee to our troops on active duty around the world.
Another Council project provides financial assistance to outstanding college bound high school seniors who are dependents or direct descendants of an active, reserve, retired or honorable discharged member of a branch of the military and who attend a high school in the Coachella Valley. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, evidence of outstanding character and leadership potential.
